Documentation

Veyl is an experimental, modular voxel game engine written in Rust. It is in pre-alpha, and this documentation distinguishes the current prototype from proposed work.

  • Introduction — project context, philosophy, and current status.
  • Getting Started — prerequisites and the documented Cargo command.
  • Architecture — what exists today and what remains a design goal.
  • Development — roadmap and contribution guidance.

The engine currently opens a native window and renders a colored 3D cube with a basic camera. It is not yet a playable or production-ready engine. See the development roadmap for planned milestones.
